THERE I GO

I am that lusty yam tendril
Entrenched on hot scorching soil of pale dreams
Amidst some withering lots.
Where rays of lushly lights beam
To give life to soulless seedlings,
                  There I go.

I am that white-tailed eagle
Soaring higher with vision craned afield
I tread upon dusty earth; overcoming my walls of Jericho
And rest on a pinnacle of greatness.
Where fair name are weighed in gold
                   There I go.

I am that rising ball-like moon
Glistening upon the seas at night
Whose burning brilliance canst not
Be cupped by thousand hands.
Where t'is every man's desire to become a god,
                    There I go.

I am that soft gentle wind
That ruffles the willows of bitter emotions,
And rustles past the lobes of your ears
Dipping green leafy hand into them
To oil  rusted surmises of hate and envy.
Where  love and peace coexist,
                    There I go.

I am that formative head
That will wear the creative diadem
Bringing home sceptres of honour.
I stride the gulf of time;conquer labyrinths of mortality
And where all immortal souls are
                    There I go.

I am that bard from Amasiri-
The unsung land that sired the noblest of men.
From the abounding trove of her dexterities
To the very heart of the globe
Where fame and honour dwell
                   There I go.
